I have always been pleasantly impressed with the service at both Hildenborough and Trenchwood GP surgeries. I find the application they use for booking appointments, etc easy to use and the care navigators helpful. I had no issues with booking appointments on the day if I had a serios concern to discuss for myself or the children. I am also a medical professional and have worked in my nursing job with other GP surgeries, and I find HTMG very good.

I'm not too hot on my smart phone and by mistake swiped a doctor's afternoon call back the wrong way! Much later, at 7.20pm, the doctor called me again and asked me to attend the surgery straight away. Amazing service! Even two reception staff were still there to let me in! Thank you.

Never known a GP practice that is engaged from 8am every single time on any day they are telephoned . Surely they can afford to have more than one receptionist ?? They remain engaged) for the early hours of the morning so people cannot get threw?? How does this practice expect the public to make appointments?? Also altering medications to cheaper sub standard ones. If you manage to get them at all or even on time?? Atrocious service for a GP practice would not recommend .Answer your telephones!!! Sub standard poor neglectful practice shameful. Reporting this not answering their calls and blocking public to the necessary to examine why this is ongoing . If they cannot provide the services they are paid for they should not be in practice . 30 40 people in some bizarre cue at 8am ????? How much money are BT and This practice making by keeping people prisoners of these everyday never ending phone lines for hours just to get a telephone appointment ? Will be sending all bills to NHS . Absolute disgrace .

regarding appointments, what kind of system even is this. so you can't pre book but when you call up dead on 8am all the appointments are taken. the trench wood surgery is an absolute mess. no consideration for people who work, receptionist that are not on this planet. biggest problem with this surgery isn't the doctors as they are great. its the receptionist they have no people skills at all.

Can’t fault the service for my daughter was triaged by phone and then seen in the afternoon. The receptionist is very busy she didn’t stop for a minute whilst we were waiting. The doctor was very thorough and reassuring. (Dr Hinds)

Very disappointed told to ring back today (Friday) to get an appointment with Dr. L. Was no 30 on calls when I finally got through all appointments with her gone. Told I wouldn't be able to get an appointment WITH doctor. What has happened to this surgery? It used to be well run and receptionists used to be polite at Hildenborough and really helpful.

The service provided to local persons with disabilities is great. We have found the GP's to be exceptionally supportive, compassionate and understanding of our clients needs. Yes it can sometimes be difficult to get through on the phone to make an appointment, but we always get there in the end. The last two years have brought exceptional challenges to all GP practices, but Trenchwood and Hildenborough have continued to provide a service in which we have total confidence. Thank you.

Impossible to get through by phone without wasting an unacceptable amount of time. Not informed of the results of a test when they came in. Desk staff obstructive and rude, giving nonsensical reasons as to why one cannot contact a doctor. The general impression is that the Practice's administrative convenience comes before seeing ill patients. Since Covid it has become a nightmare to try to speak to a GP - never mind see one. The desk staff are usually unhelpful, and speak to callers as though they were idiots who were wasting valuable NHS time. This seems now to be the situation throughout the NHS GP service. Hardly worthy of a George Cross.

The receptionists are the rudest and most aggressive I have ever known in a doctors surgery They have a ridiculous policy of only providing one months worth of medication even if you are on it for life they are so behind other surgeries with online practice and always got it wrong when I asked for my prescriptions to be sent to an online company for posting. I have recently left the surgery and now know not all surgeries are like this so glad I dont have to phone them anymore
